RE-SOURCE VET – Circular Skills Exchange

Novareckon is a partner in the Erasmus+ project: “RE-SOURCE VET – Circular Skills Exchange”.
The project leader is the Icelandic company Íslenska gámafélagið, a waste management leader based in Reykjavik, while the partners are Novareckon SRL (Italy) and the Project Net(Latvia).
The main objective of the project is to foster innovation and international cooperation in the waste management and recycling sector, directly addressing climate change priorities. Through the cross-border exchange of best practices and the co-creation of high-quality digital training resources, the project aims to enhance the green skills of recycling experts and activists. By addressing real-world operational challenges, it transforms local recycling issues into shared European solutions to accelerate the shift toward a circular economy.
The main results and activities of the project are:

Organization of three international events for professionals: a study visit in Iceland focused on industrial waste management, and two technical Think Tanks in Italy and Poland dedicated to circular design.

Production of a “Good Practices” video spot and publication of a dedicated article on the European EPALE platform.

Enhancement of VET quality and flexibility by integrating diverse green competencies into daily operations.

Catalyzing a mindset shift toward sustainable habits and ecological responsibility, maximizing local community impact through public dissemination meetings and social media campaigns.
