Thinking Together: A Small-Scale Roadmap to Stronger Communities
Start project: 01/09/2026 – End project: 31/12/2027
Novareckon is a partner in the Erasmus+ Project: “Thinking Together: A Small-Scale Roadmap to Stronger Communities”.
The project leader is the Icelandic organization Menntafélag Pólska Móðurmáls PERSONA, while the partners are Novareckon SRL (Italy) and Fundacja Stella Virium (Poland).
The main objective of the project is to strengthen local democracy and social cohesion by equipping both migrants and local community members with skills in philosophical dialogue. The project aims to transform “thinking together” into a practical tool for civic participation, ensuring that adult learners (especially those from migrant backgrounds) acquire the critical thinking and communication skills necessary to actively co-create their local social environment.
The expected outcomes and results of the project are:
-
Increased civic agency and participation among both migrants and local residents, facilitating the transition from passive residency to active involvement in community decision-making processes.
-
Development of the “Roadmap to Dialogue”, a set of practical tools and methodologies for conducting philosophical inquiry and discussion in multicultural settings.
-
Enhanced skills of educators and community leaders in managing diverse groups and facilitating complex conversations using philosophical methods.
-
A heightened sense of belonging among migrant participants, created through safe spaces for intellectual and democratic exchange.
